So... does the a99ii have Remote Camera Control from USB like the a700 and a900 did?

I cannot find this genuinely cool aspect anywhere in the literature that I've perused.

Thanks

I started using Capture One for Sony in favor of Remote Camera Control. It's nearly instantaneous for transfer and loading preview. About three times faster than RCC. Even faster than RCC+Adobe Bridge. With Capture One for Sony, you can make changes in the curves, levels, exposure sliders, anything (even clarity and highlights) and those changes will be automatically applied to every captured image. Great for fine tuning black levels when shooting in studio tethering. It will also provide Live View and full movie function. Very stable.

Play Memories Remote Camera Control is also very sophisticated and extremely stable from Andriod to a99II. The only control you don't get is AF on/off. But you can use the DSLR Remote II to control AF on/off if center joystick button is set for AF on/off. Can also start movies while in stills mode, or the other way around. Remote Control on a99II will work in harmony with Play Memories Remote Camera Control. Can't do that with any EMount camera that I know of. Remote Control is disabled with Play Memories on EMount. But the latest Play Memories RCC has control for AF on/off, so you don't really need the DSLR Remote. The problem with EMount, can't start movies from stills mode, or the other way, with Play Memories RCC..
