Received my first two cards!

One from MiPr arrived today -- lovely sunset theme.
One from KoBra64 arrived on thick cardstock yesterday showing the center of Groningen (hope I spelled that correctly).

Thanks, both!

I'll scan then when I have time. Feels like I barely have time to breath during weekdays at this time of year.

Glad to see that 2 of the 8 cards I sent out have arrived so far.

Great! Good to see it arrived in such good shape Art. That's 5 confirmed out of 7 sent now. Still awaiting 5 cards to receive though...

Don't worry yet, thamarie's card came for me, were they posted together with yours?

They were posted a bit earlier (two days?) and in fact 3 of them already arrived - the EU ones, although there is still one sent to Germany which is unconfirmed. Two which I sent to USA are probably still swimming across the pond ...

@pegelli - thanks for confirming the arrival of my card. I'm glad you liked it. All 6 of the cards I have sent have arrived! This one received the most damage, if I recall correctly.

Here's a clean version of my shot.

Took some time for scanning today:

First the 4 stamps and markings:

fttb, USA, Poland, UK and Australia

thamarie's beautiful sunflowers on an XXL width card:

As you can see, no damage to speak of

ADub128's SpaceX Falcon9 contrail

with an unfortunate extra vertical contrail

Again thanks for both of these

Still waiting for one to receive, but I have little doubt it will still come since it's only been posted a few days ago (according to the sender here)

I found 3 cards in my mailbox!!

One from Pieter (pegelli), a beautiful picture of the central staircase of the former HQ of the Antwerp Harbour pilots. It arrive with no damage:

One from Steve (martymoose), boats and a bridge. As Steve said, the mismatch between the boats and the bridge makes this a very interesting scene. There is a small damage at the bottom right of the card, otherwise it is clean and nice:

And one which made it all the way from Australia from James (clk230), from Henley Beach, Adelaide, Australia. Love the beach scene and love the deep blue of the sky. Besides the postal bar codes at the bottom, the card is nice and clean:

Thank you all!

I am still waiting to see my cards arriving (it is already 1.5 weeks since I dropped them)...

thatís pretty good, 3 weekdays for Australia Post in the lead up to Christmas. Part 2 should be there soon...

The cards are by Moo. First time Iíve used them for postcards. I like the result and the fact you can have multiple images in a single run.

The fourth card arrived yesterday, from ADub128.

A shot of the SpaceX Falcon 9 launch contrail during sunset last december. A really fine shot with very nice colors, only slightly damaged by a sorting machine rub in the blue sky. Thanks Art

I'll post a scan later when I have time (together with thamarie's sunflowers)

Four of my cards have landed so far, still awaiting one more

Part 1 of a mysterious two-part message arrived today from gregja. The card promises all will be reveal when the second card arrives!

I'm also interested Greg in how you produced the card. It appears to be a single piece of card with the photo printed on one side and the standard postcard template on the reverse. It's short journey from the east coast did not encounter any damage only the bar codes printed on the front.

statistics
sent 6 - reported as arrived 5 (Australia, USA x3, Belgium)
received 3 (USA x2, Australia)
