Sign me up. Can’t say 50 is my favorite focal length. It is not. Much prefer 35. But this will give me a chance to get better! I only own 1 50 so I will shoot with it. My camera will be the a7rii and lens will be rokinon fe 50 1.4 af.

Since I do have some suitable lenses for this challenge, I think I'll have to join and try to find some ideas for good pictures...

alas ... I cannot play
(valid) excuse: I have nothing with 50 written on it!

Just checked my emails and found an invite (thank you). While I cannot play in a shooting capacity maybe I'll just join in the comments bit?

I've still to decide how we're going to participate. Well we have a new 50mm fe 1.8 (the cheap version) and a few e-mount camera's. I'm going to use one lens on all these camera's.

Nex c3, A6000, A7II and A7RII

I haven't done a challenge since 2012, it's probably time to get back in. I'll try to take all my 4 50's on a spin. Minolta MC Rokkor PG 1.4 and MD Rokkor 1.7 on Sony A7, Sony 1.4 and Sigma 2.8 Macro (1st gen AF) on A99II.

I have the Minolta 50mm f1.7, f2.8 macro, and Sony f1.8 in A-mount, plus a rather dinky Miranda f2 (PK) which fits the Nex 6 with an adapter, and at least two M42-fit 50s including the Zeiss Tessar f2.8 and a charity-shop special with added fungus... Then I can always use the original Miranda f1.9 or f1.8 lenses with a spacer for macro work, so I figure I have plenty of choices for hardware.

The issue will be finding something worth taking pictures of in dark and dismal England. Wait! Christmas lights!
Miranda F & Sensorex, Sony A58, 5d, Dynax 4, 5, 60, 500si/600si/700si/800si, various Sony & Minolta lenses, several Tamrons, lots of MF primes and *far* too many old film cameras . . .

Count me in.

I haven't made a choice of lens yet but either Helios 44, Minolta 50/1.7 or Domiplan 50/2.8.
There's no such thing as too many lenses.
