I have bought front/rear lens caps from here before, so I can recommend them.
They have all Sony replacement hoods, including SSM, STF & Zeiss. Check out the prices for the metal Zeiss hoods... Click : Replacement hoods |

Yes, thanks for the link. But I have to add that the prices are somewhat steep. Converting the prices to U.S. dollars dictates to me to stay within the U.S. for purchases.

A useful link thanks.
Wonder how many people will pay $110 (including S&H to be fair) for an official Sony 1GB CF card. :-) |

No one with any sense!! For buyers in UK, these prices are pretty good (with the exception of the above) |

yep, for the hoods and for the Uk/EU buyer these are indeed great price ... good linking in Bass, but I'll move this to the External Links forum where it might have a better home.
Note to the USA readers: lets not forget that an item that is $100 in your local store is also L100 in our local store .... but L100 is $200. We don't volunteer to pay 2x the price you pay for everything. Edited by dCap - 30 June 2007 at 12:03 |

Take the eBay plunge, it's much less tramatic than you think. Especially when you are dealing with a store, like here, instead of an individual person selling used items. Two things to look for when buying on eBay are the Sellers score and how long have they been doing it. This place has a high rating and has been doing business on eBay for years so it's safe.
You'll probably want to start a PayPal account for money transactions between you and the seller. And one other thing, you are here in the US and that link is to eBay UK so you need to factor in currency conversion and overseas shipping charges. Edited by stiuskr - 30 December 2008 at 13:07 |

Life is like a camera. Just focus on what's important and capture the good times, develop from the negatives and if things don't work out, just take another shot. |

Too quickly It is just not feasible for us in the UK to buy from abroad anymore with the L against the Euro / $.
Very strange that Europeans are now importing from the UK! I'd hurry though, with our currency as it is now, imports are going to get very expensive
