Very worthy winner - that shot is incredible. Would pallep care to amuse us with how he managed to create such a shot?
Well done to all

Congrats to pallep - a worthy winner. Also congrats to all finalists.
I would also be interested in how pallep shot this. How many cups and saucers were used to get 'the one' ?? |

It's all been said, but all worth repeating. The winning shot is incredible, and a worthy winner. I'd love to hear the "How I Did It" if you're willing to share.
Congrats too to the runners up, and to the finalist who didn't make this cut. Lots of fine work in this DPC.

Congratulations!, Very well done pallep.
@bracket Nice timing and setup. @dilletante: Cool hi key shot @pallep: I was trying to think how could i do it. I recently did something for which i shot from below a glass table? It may be possible to do this using that. So we are very curious (if you are willing) :) N |

Stunningly good shots all. I, too, have wondered about the winning photo. My guess is cotton threads cloned out -- but I could be wrong
. Inspired image anyway .

Thanks all, I can now rest in peace, I won a DPC.
How it was done, well it took some time to set up, the trick was superglue and fishingline. I cloned out the lines. Two lines on the spoon. The shot kept rearranging itself it was almost impossible to stop the lines from turning. So no broken china.
