The lake is actually partially frozen! I visit Victoria Park (in east London) fairly often and this is the first time I noticed this sign (it is a large park! ). Upon closer inspection, it seems that the word "HOT" had been added at a later date - but I have no idea why or whether it is a prank as the same warning appears all the way around the lake...

That's very odd! It would almost make sense if it said 'not water' since the wet pavement kind of looks like water or something, but hot does seem a bit out of place

I really like your last image, the trees above the building, lovely, maybe even lose a little more of the bottom (foreground).
