Dear Dyxumers,

I've just finished counting all votes and I am pleased to announce THE photo which won the "Winter Joys" DPC:


"Winter Wonderland" by whitecat





The winning photo had two strong competitors which get Honourable Mention:


"The skater" by darosa





"Faceplant!" by brian33




As usual the winner will get beautiful and shiny Golden Dyxum Patch.

Wow, I just saw this, congratulations, Whitecat! An awesome picture, simple and beautiful, well deserved! I also really love Darosa's shot, perfectly composed and it shows that unique winter light.

And many thanks for the honorable mention, I was very lucky to get that shot, I'll say that much!

Many congratulations to the deserved winner of this DPC . For me it was clear from the beginning that whitecat's simple but very powerful photo would be the winner. Congratulations too to Brian for his capture of Gulls-on-Ice. And many thanks Dyxum for awarding my primordial Dutch winterscene an honourable mention.
