Dear Dyxumers,

I've just finished counting all votes and I am pleased to announce THE photo which won the "Environmental Portrait" DPC:

"This Bud's For You" by wross

Yes, he did it again!

The two photos that were quite close behind the winner (and which get Honourable Mention) are:

"Tales" by Minoltista

"The Butcher" by RubberDials

As usual the winner will get beautiful and shiny Golden Dyxum Patch.

Congratulations to the Great Three and thank you all for voting and participation in this DPC.

Happy shooting,
MiPr

Thanks for all the kind words. Congratulations to Michele and RubberDials for two fine portraits; rich compositions that are more like stories than mere pictures. The true test of an environmental portrait, in my view. It's a pleasure to share the page with you.

I think I see a pattern here... I took a picture of a sinister-looking man surrounded by knives and came third, Minoltista took a picture of a wrinkled old lady with missing teeth and came second and Wross took a picture of an attractive young blonde offering a bottle of beer and won...

Congratulations to both of you and to MiGPRADO whose picture of the actor iIgor llaguno was only a few votes off beating me and was my choice for winner (other than myself of course!)
