Dear Dyxumers,

Eventually I managed to finish vote counting and I am pleased to announce the photo which won the competition which was very tough this time ...

"The Look" by Sharpeye

As usual we have also Honourable Mention awards which go to:

"Last Summer Day" by Jakuli

and

"Taking a small break" by derettahs

Congratulations to the winner and the HMs and thank you all for voting and participation in this DPC ...

Happy shooting,
MiPr

Well done Sharpeye - it's a brilliant portrait and the quality and look is almost haunting; it's one where you almost feel followed around and shows a real connection with the observer.

The Honourable Mentions are also pretty close behind; both are beautifully framed people shots and would be high oin anyone's list of images for a DPC such as this!

Well done all that took part - as a 'non person' photographer I really admired your skills and techniques in this one.

Best regards, Neil.
My Mantra: "Comment on other's work as you would wish to have yours commented upon". Go on - it's fun!
