I have being looking at R4 for some time and found this review that I thought I should share with all of those who are looking for a brand new range finder.

I have a Voigtlander Vitomatic IIa from 1962 and find the results amazing, that makes me wanting to get one of the new ones just for the flexibility of switching lens. Those wide angle lens are just excellent.

Dude, you are tempting me!
You don't know how close I was to buying a Leica about 2 weeks ago...wow, my bank account was saved once again but for how long can I hold out?

The temptation I face is the CL - but I am a loyal sort of chap ( Minolta & film )

However they do not come cheap even to this day

Quote from OW - "I can resist anything except temptation"
I shot some film yesterday. I was told last night that film was dead so today I shot some more.

I know the feeling, Leica are pretty good cameras. Yet these Cosina Voigtlander are cheap and pretty well built. The nice thing is that we can choose between R4A or R4M.
R4M can still shoot without batteries, and you can use Leica M lens on any of them.

You can also get a R2 or R3 for less money.

Muito obrigado Vitor but the Minolta CL is more than enough to worry about.

Still digesting my return to the Autocord and finding time to get the 101 out for a whirl.
I shot some film yesterday. I was told last night that film was dead so today I shot some more.

Minolta CL and Minolta Rokkor M mount are pretty expensive, would be nice to have one to add to my collection of Minolta gear

ah yes, PhotoArsenal strikes again.

I honestly wonder if they manage to sell anything - their prices are regularly 3x to 10x the market rate.
