(Voting) DPC #262 "Impressive Machinery"

Dear Dyxumers,

The AMAE team finished the preselection process: each AMAE had the right to nominate shots of his/her choice and those shots which got 4 or more nominations became finalists. This way 7 photos were selected - please see below.

As for the voting - please let me remind you that you can award up to two photos by assigining 3 points to the one you like the best and 1 point to the second one. You cannot sum points and assign it to one photo, i.e. the only thing you can do is to assign either 3 or 1 point.

To cast the vote it is enough to give the photo number and the number of points. The voting format is as follows:

   #photo_num: points

Please remember to put each vote on a separate line.

Example:

   #2: 3
   #5: 1

You can change your vote up to the time of closing the voting by editing your original post.

Please note that voting for your own pic is not allowed.

To resolve situations where there are two winning entries with an equal number of votes the one with the greater number of 3-point votes will be selected as a winner. If it happens that both photos have exactly the same distribution of votes the decision will be made by a commitee consisting of admins/mods/alpha eyes.

Important: Only Dyxumers with the status of "groupie" or higher can vote - votes of "newbies" will not be counted.

As usual the administrators also have the right to assign one or more Honourable Mention awards.

The voting will be open until July 8, 2017

And now please let me present all finalists of the DPC 262 "Impressive Machinery" in order of appearance:

1: Shovel Mining Excavator by

2: PatentOnTheRise by

3: Container cranes at Burchardkai (Waltershof, harbor of Hamburg) by

4: Hauli by

5: Surrounded by impressive machinery on a daily basis by

6: Neptune at Night by

7: Corn mill by

Good luck to all the finalists, and let the voting start [:]
