Hello. As you can see from my signature I'm using the Sony 20mm 2.8 on A200. If you want I can post here some pictures from the last ones I took to show you some of what the lens performs. Let me know.

Bye!

Here you have two samples. You can examine the exif for the details. First one is f2.8.

I hope this helps!

I find both very beautiful lenses. I have to say that the 20mm probably has got the edge concerning colours. What do you plan to use the 20mm for? If you are more interested in portraits I would say that the 50mm 1.7 is a more appropriate lens (due to its focal length!).

1. The sharpness is quite decent. Sharp when you shoot at near object.
2. AF speed is fast as of with other fixed lens
3. The colour is quite good, like those warm minolta colour.

By the way, I used the RS version of this lens. My only concern about this lens is its distorsion and vignette. Ccould be better like Tokina ATX 17mm f3.5 that I use now. That would be a problem when you shoot with FF. On APSC, I dont think its wide enough.

I think that for those uses it will be a nice lens. I guess a too wide angle would be not always the best choice for photographing groups of people and general purpose wedding shots.

Mine are 17mm, 16-80, 50 1.4, 28-135. Owned 85 1.4 before, very nice lens.

Yeah, you should get 20mm for group shot. Wont get any distortion problem with APSC. I know you will with 16-105. My 16-80 just cant keep up with my 17mm in terms of distorsion control.
