This time the preselection was done by the AMAE committee: each AMAE nominated photos of his/her choice; those which got 3 or more nominations became finalists. This way we got 9 finalists - please jump right here to review all of them and cast your vote (please read the instructions first ;-)).

I think that this DPC has clearly shown that the "horizon must be level" rule is just a myth ;-) 

Many excellent photos were entered in this contest but it was "Into the sun" by svjetlana that was "tilted" in the best way ;-)

So, what is it all about? Well, it's all about sending and receiving postcards. But not some ordinary ones which you can buy in a shop - you have to prepare them yourself, from your own photos. 

Wouldn't it be pleasure to get some views from around whole world - directly in your inbox, directly from your friends? And surprise everyone with your own creations?

So, do not hesitate and join us in Dxyum Postcard Exchange 2013!!!

"A new legislation that has been rushed through parliament with no thought has now reached royal assent. This legislation means that photographers and illustrators alike will see their artworks legally taken and used for another's own gain.

Unless your works are registered or plastered with a watermark, anyone can use your copyrighted work for their own commercial and personal gains provided they have made a small effort to search for the original owner. If no owner can be found, they are free to do with it whatever they want."

Threating? Yes, it is! And despite that this only concerns UK law it might affect all of us - all around the world. So, if you are UK-based photographer please do not hesitate to sign the petition to nip this broken idea in the bud. You can find relevant Dyxum thread in here (some previous info is in here).
