10 Things You Should Know About The Konica Minolta Maxxum 7D
For all of you who haven't the chance to read pop photo magazine, they have provided this interesting article on line.
The Sunday Morning Photographer
" Personally, it has convinced me that spending any less for a DSLR would have been a golden opportunity tragically missed."
"This camera suits the needs of both professional and and advanced amateur users. The camera has a very traditional look, to such an extent that it cannot be distinguished from a reflex film camera, except for the LCD display. Considering the ergonomics, the Dynax 7D is one of the best cameras tested so far, yielding a great image quality."
If you’re a Maxxum film SLR user with an investment in Maxxum lenses, the 7D is your ticket to serious digital photography. If you don’t already have a bagful of Maxxum lenses and are in the market for a good digital SLR, you still should consider the 7D for its Anti-Shake, quick start-up and wake-up, big LCD monitor, and excellent performance and image quality.

"...a camera that we have no qualms about recommending to loyal Minolta shooters, and one that we're confident will prove to have been well worth the wait..."
"..Konica Minolta Maxxum 7D is an outstanding product, not only for Maxxum film-camera users but anyone else who wants a D-SLR that combines intelligent design, great handling characteristics, and very good to excellent image quality"
"All things considered, the Maxxum 7D gets my enthusiastic recommendation."
"The 7D is one of those cameras which I enjoyed using and encourages you to shoot more and experiment more (the availability and access to manual controls achieves this)."
“The 7D gives you the impression that it is first a camera, and second a digital device.”
Very nice review with informative image samples
Excellent review from one KM user.
"...the Konica Minolta Maxxum 7D is for the dedicated, sophisticated photographer". I'm glad they puted it when 7D belong.

This review was awaited from many KM users. Michael Reichmann has great respect in KM community mainly because he is providing "a real word" tests. Of course, his very positive review of A2 has bring him additional popularity between KM folks. I'm pretty satisfied from what I've read. but it's more than evident that MR is not a regular Minolta SRL user.
One of the first hands on preview of 7D. Now updated with new experiences with final production sample camera.
