dyxum note
Filter size is 77mm if mounted on the barrel surrounding the front element (the front element is not threaded). However, it is also possible to mount 72mm filters on the original Tokina MH-774 lens hood, since the hood has a thread inside. The hood is thread mounted to the lens, and hence can fit pretty much any lens with a 77mm thread. The lens has a built in metal cast, non-removable, rotating tripod mount.
