Minolta Sony alpha lens database

   Welcome to dyxum lens database for Minolta AF mount (Sony alpha) DSLR cameras.
Our database contains most of lenses ever made for A-mount (Sony and Minolta AF (D)SLR cameras) including Minolta, Sony, Sigma, Tamron, Tokina, Carl Zeiss and other manufacturers.

Here you will find lens specifications, related links, lens images and user submitted lens reviews.

 

  Supposedly there are more than 16 millions lenses with the Minolta A mount and only a few web sources  with adequate information about them. This irony was the main reason I have started collecting lens data found in this database.

 

To our knowledge all Minolta and Sony lenses listed in our lens database should work on Sony Alpha 100 (a100), Alpha 200 (a200), Alpha 230 (a230), Alpha 300 (a300), Alpha 330 (a330), Alpha 350 (a350), Alpha 380(a380), Alpha 700 (a700), Alpha 900 /a900), Konica-Minolta 5D and Konica-Minolta 7D.

Some older Sigma and Tokina lenses listed in our database may not be compatible with mentioned cameras; please consult lens detail page in case we have any additional info about lens compatibility.

  If you are aware of some a-mount (Minolta AF / Sony Sony Alpha) lens that is not listed in here, you can submit lens data by yourself. By doing this please include all information you have including web links, lens images and your comments. I will not include lenses with only lens name and very few information.

 

  Since information collected here is from various sources there may be some errors and if you find one of them, I would really appreciate if you can notify me about them.

 

   I have decided that users should register before submitting reviews. The only reason for this is that I don't want some trolls submitting nonsense data greatly reducing the overall reviews quality and objectivity.

 

  I want to express my deepest gratitude to all of you who have provided help of any kind in making this database, especially to all dyxum members who have shared their experiences by reviewing their lenses.
