positive:- plenty sharp at f/2.8
- very sharp by f/4
- well built, more like a 4.5
- well-controlled distortion
- circular aperture blades
- light
negative:- front element's quite exposed
- tiny focus ring
comment:very easy to let your fingers touch the front element while manually focusing. problem can be alleviated with lens hood attached.
