comment:Initially was completely underwhelmed by this lens and was going to give it away. I removed the UV filter that came mounted on the lens as part of the final clean, took a few shots and it was like using a different lens.

Centre is sharp from wide open and seems best across the image from F5.6-F13.5. Diffraction creeps in after this.

Typical Minolta colour. This lens can give great results and is small enough to have in the bag 'just in case'.
