positive:As sharp wide open as stopped down
Lightweight
Compact
Quick AF
No discernible distortion
Little if any vignetting
negative:Plastic build requires appropriate care
f11+ suffers from diffraction - almost unusable
comment:Sharpest wide open lens I've ever seen! And the widest usable range of f-stops on any lens I own. Excellent AF performance that works well with the a6300 AF features.

I added a pricier B+W UV filter to preserve its sharpness. It is paired with its 19/2.8 DN Art sibling as part of my hiking kit.

This one is a no-brainer - all the current review rave about this Art model. If you need an excellent superwide, this does 95% of what any better lens can do.

positive:small, light, sharp, nice bokeh, quiet
negative:unnerving rattle when camera powered off
comment:Just testing this lens out and I'm really enjoying it. Focus in low light can be a bit slow. That also could the the camera (a3000) so I won't count it against the lens. The sharpness and bokeh are great. Detailed fur on animal subjects and nice round orbs of light in the background. I read reviews of a rattle or sound like something being loose in the lens when the camera is powered off. I'm glad I had warning that this is normal or I would have been worried. The only complaint I have is about the smooth barrel. When manually adjusting focus while wearing gloves it can be tough to tell if you have a decent grip on the lens.

positive:Sharp from F2,8
Small and light
negative:F2,8 is littlebit slow
comment:Great small lens for portraits. Sharpness can allow lot of croping, so this lens can act alike FF 90-180mm zoom even at F2,8, surely from F3,5, if shutter speed is accordingly selected and 3000x2000 pix from the centre of the frame are enough.

As this lens is really small and light for 90mm FF, I compline because of littlebit slow max aperture. I hope 60/2 lens can come out from Sigma and this one can be awesome. If it happens, I am going to replace my 60/2,8.

My feeling is, that IS is mandatory for novadays small and light mirrorless camera's lenses, if the sensor has no stabilisation.

Added after few month use:
Now with the first IBIS-loaded aps-c body Sigma 60/2,8 makes lot of sense. If macro is not the interest, savigs can be remarkabel, as IBIS-loaded body cost can be transfered for use all lenses with no OSS.

positive:Hugely impressed by the sharpness right through the range.
For the price I was extremely surprised by its IQ.
Build is pretty good.
Nice case.
negative:At first the floating middle group when not engaged to the camera body, but it's actually fine.
comment:Great value for money. Really pleasantly surprised.
I actually like how the leaf shutter is at the front - different.

positive:Great image quality, fast enough, solid build, excellent fit to e mount, exif says it's a sony 60mm lens, excellent focusing on the A6000, less so on the A3000 due to very different focusing engines. Excellent value for money. Compact and light weight.
negative:None yet discovered
comment:Great portrait type lens with excellent image quality. The lens rattles, normal function, as do the Pana-Leica's, that is in no way a negative. I have the three Sigma primes 19-30-60 and I prefer these to carrying the kit zoom. I'm a fan. I am starting an album https://www.flickr.com/photos/roguemd/sets/72157645739777411/
I would recommend to a friend.

Cheap, around 200 bucks
Light
Fast and actuate AF

negative:Only 2.8
Lens elements rattle while lens lacks power
Unusual small filter thread
comment:For the price this lens is a no brainer if you do need the extra speed or OSS of the SEL50F18 (haven't used it). Even if the have the Sony E 50 the extra compression will suit portraits. The lens is super light but rattles when it isn't powered. Sharpness is great from 2.8 even on the higher pixel denstity of the a3000's 20mp sensor. Of all the AF lenses I own for the NEX this was my favorite and easily the sharpest.
