ownership:I own this lens
compared to:Minolta 50mm f2.8 macro
Sony 100mm f2.8 macro
price paid:$200 (USD) used
positive:Light, sharp, no discernible distortion.
negative:Not sure how long it will last.
comment:Ranks high on the list of "Top 10 best macro lenses for the price!" It's not quite as sharp as my Minolta 50mm f2.8 macro or my Sony 100mm f2.8 macro but it's very close. On my A6000 it's a very good walk-around lens that covers general subjects well and is always ready to get "front-element" close when necessary.
