Week D Day 7 - Minolta 135mm f2.8, A77

Utility poles usually have some sort of ID plate on them, you don't see so many with the ID carved into them.

I know I'm on a no flowers month, but there I was walking on the common with the dog and there was this foxglove in a shaft of sunlight...

Some outtakes belonging to Week A (= my week 2) day 1

The story behind the cross:

What I get from this is that the old rusty cross that is now standing in the church's garden used to be on the tower for 75 years, but is now replaced by a new version (which looks exactly the same design)

Behind the church I found a little chapel in the woods

Entrance (unfortunately the church was closed)

All A7 + Tamron Adaptel 2 28/2.5

    Week B Day 1 - Sony 35mm f1.8 DT, A77

More of the sculpture in today's shot to give some context - Large Pollination Bees & Butterflies by Ruth Mollinet.

I suspect there will be more sculpture shots this week!

    Week B Day 2 - Sony 35mm f1.8 DT, A77

Continuing to avoid flower pictures I took this one of a bee under attack.

The whole statue of today's entry - they are for sale, so they have tags giving lot number etc - tends to spoil many shots!

    Week A = week 2 for me, day 10

100% crop of the victim of the high speed head-on collision:

Not too shabby for a lens I bought for 5 €

After bringing the victim to it's final resting place
