Great Phil! Thanks for joining and beating last year's number.
In previous rounds there has been extensive exchange of printing options. I am sure also this year other members are willing to help by sharing their experiences.

It looks like we will end up with these 20 participants, which is much better than last year . Thanks all for signing up.
I will produce and publish the final list tomorrow to get this going

I'm curious....

Started to look for an outsourced printing company that sends the cards to me, so I can write them myself...

Anyone a good idea for the Netherlands?

I am looking around too (again..). Had an address for 3 years, but had to change last year since that one was taken over and increased prices by 200% or so. I can't recall what I did last year though . I'll keep you posted, but maybe others have good ideas too.

I've always been a "print at home" participant. I just got an Epson EcoTank ET-8500, replacing an XP-960. I'm not sure these are global model numbers. I'm very happy with these printers' results.

It's super quick for me to print my 4x6s here, then use "postcard backs" that I bought on Amazon (and previously THE2BUDS website).

I'm really looking forward to sending and receiving cards soon.

At least that model is listed on Epson's Finnish language pages, so probably the model is available globally. The specs of that printer looks quite impressive, if I was looking for a new printer that or the A3+ sister model ET-8550 could be a strong contender. But alas, I'll stick with my colour laser for time being, despite that it is no photo printer and I haven't recently done much photo printing myself.

And I think I'll continue to Posti's online card printing and mailing service also this year since I still haven't found an alternative printing service where I could order a set of postcards with different images, only batches of 10+ cards with the same image. The downside is still that I cannot handwrite any of the texts on the backside.

@Hezu, yes, I am enjoying my ET-8500. If I had more room here, I'd get the ET-8550 for the bigger print options. I print mostly 4x6 (usually around this time of year , but with these new "tank" printers, I will print bigger now since it is more economical to print.

OK, let's go! Here is the final list.

I did my best to maximize the geographical spread. Also, I looked at last year's list to avoid overlap. However, some overlap of geographical buckets and last year as sender or receiver was unavoidable.

The idea is to send cards to the 5 people BELOW you on the list (wrapping the list if you are close to the bottom). For example: #6 will be sending postcards to #7, #8, #9, #10 and #11.
At the end of the list, we will just roll forward to #1.
So #17 will send a card to #18, #19, #20, #1 and #2.

To make this happen each person should PM his postal address to 5 people ABOVE themself on the list. For example #3 should PM his postal address to #2, #1, #20, #19 and #18. Don't post your address here!!

One additional request is to write the date on your card. It's hard to tell when some of the cards were sent since the postmarks can be non-existent or illegible.

And if you have more than 5 cards available then just announce it in this thread. History has learned that there are always volunteers to get one of those via a PM with their address.

When PMing your postal address please mind its formatting - put it in exactly same format as expected by your post office: different countries use different formatting and it can be painful to make sure that all is done correctly.

BTW, the unspoken agreement is that postal addresses exchanged by PMs will be used solely for the purpose of Dyxum Postards Exchange. Please mind privacy of fellow Dyxumers!
