One of the big benefits of Kentmere is that it dries veryflat - makes scanning much easier..

Quite contrasty, your development, scanning or post processing?

@Bob: I have mixed feelings with your Kentmere 400 pictures. Some are really nice, but once in a few there is one with ugly grain. It is not the amount as much, it is the character (YMMV, it is just a personal opinion). Anyway, did you try Kentmere 100?

I think I was trying to lift the shadows too much.
The Kentmere is fairly good value - I think it is the same basic stock at Agfaphoto APX400. I've not tried the 100...
It supposedly also is the same as Rollei RPX 100 and Fotoimpex CHM-100. And yes, it is good value.

Just had a few films developed: all a bit different.

1.Sue on the Otara Cycle Path
Fujifilm Eterna RD-1 copy film. iso 1.5.
Designed to be exposed with lasers and is neither daylight nor Tungsten balanced. It's a bit of a lottery and sometimes throws up close to 'normal' images, other times more like colour infra-red. This time the latter.

I've shot a few rolls of film in my Minolta over the past week. One is to be collected today but here's the first (yes, pics are on other threads).

All shot with my Minolta Alpha 7 on Ilford XP2 film.

I never know just what Fujifilm Eterna RD-1 will throw up at me. Because of the different layer order and it's intent to be exposed by laser; various qualities of daylight can drastically affect the colour palette.

I shot these while scootering around Auckland City Centre using my Minolta Alpha 7. When i'm on the little eScooter, I usually limit myself to one or two lenses. This time just the 24 and 50mm.

Converted to B&W because the colour was horrible! It's also a stitched panorama.

What I like about #8 is the new Mercedes cabriolet and the mirror is looking back with an old Mercedes cabriolet. Nice
