Oops, I'm a bit late this year. I have selected the photo's but need to send them out for printing. My home printer is not up to the task anymore

I hope to get them back in the course of next week and then send them out.
So don't hold your breath waiting for my cards, that might be lethal

I have prepped all of my cards and will dropping them off at the post office later this morning. With luck, the various postal services can still read my handwriting

Safe travels, postcards!

I can easily print more images -- message me if you would like one from southern California.

I have my cards printed at home and received my first card from Howard today, but I have been 'out of order' due to a bike accident last Sunday and recovering only slowly, bit nothing that won't heal again fortunately. So, a little patience is required for my cards to be written and sent. The scanning and posting of the cards I receive will suffer some delay too.
I'll keep an eye on the forum though !

I think there will be significant delay in my postcard sending: today I almost did this, but after almost completing the process the payment phase failed and puff! then I no longer had anything in shopping basket and thus the carefully written text are gone forever. Sadly, I don't probably have enough time to redo this in the near future, since I got start packing for a trip from which I am expected to return only on Sunday, October 9th. That also means that if any cards arrive next week (or later in the afternoon tomorrow) I won't be able to report this outright. However, if I counted right, next week only mail delivery days are Tuesday and Thurday since here we have this two week rhythm that means every other week there is three delivery days (Monday, Wednesday and Friday) and alternating weeks only on two days. And this alternates also on different parts of city, so the same mailman can cover two areas on different days. This is obviously due to the fact, that the amount of mail is dimishing...

Good to hear that two of my cards have got through, and commiserations on your bike accident, Fred. All the best for a speedy recovery!

@Fred - heal up! I hope it's not too serious.

@nandbytes - I can send you an image of a nice California wine!!

@Hezu - no worries about any delays. The pace for the DPE is meant to be leisurely.

BTW, my cards were dropped into the mailbox about 20 minutes ago. Please let me know when they arrive. I would love to know how they get there (truck, plane, boat, truck), all of the intermediate stops. I guess I could pay extra for that?

And, FYI, I bought some more international postcard rate stamps today -- 2022 edition. I used up all of my 2020-design stamps for the 6 non-US cards I sent earlier.

If you weren't on my initial list, I can send more! Just message me. I want to use at least one of my new stamps!

Quick update: today's mail arrived just a moment ago and all that I got today happened to be a card from Howard! Nice card, but I'll save scanning the card for later time.

Quick update

My first card arrived yesterday morning in the post, it's from KoBra64 with a wall painting of a building in Groningen. A nice photo and the card came in in a very good condition, just some very minor rub marks and very slight bent corners. Thanks Peter!

My photo's are now printed, next step is writing, getting stamps and posting them, "a job for the weekend" as they say in Gardeners World
