Hi members
My A99 multi interface shoe recently loose & wobbly. It became worst day by day until i've unable to use any flash & transmitter on the A99. Have any members have the same problem? Can it be DIY fix or need to sent the camera to the service centre? Please share any experience.

First I've heard of the hot shoe breaking loose, it's always the weak plastic foot on the flash or transmitter that breaks. Can't say if it could be DIY'd without first identifying the problem, in order to do that you need to remove the camera's top plate and from past experience you have to remove all the other camera body plates before you can remove the top plate. In this case I'd recommend that it be sent to a service center.

Finally the flash shoe broken / fall off during my wedding photography recently. Luckily the Speedlite not broken. I've send the A99 to local camera service centre (non-SSC) in Malaysia, only cost USD 30.00

Wanna share few photos of the A99 during camera repair. No replacement needed, just screw back the shoe & put back the multi contact ribbon on top of the A99 plate.
