After a short business trip, my latest 'Meyer find' appeared to be delivered at home. It's a Telemegor 5.5/150mm, M42, SN 1257834.
#1 ![]() Needs a bit of polishing, but optically and mechanically all fine. It's my first Meyer with the distance scale in feet. #2 ![]() It came with a case (no original Meyer) and a wooden M42 rear cap. Hadn't seen that before either. Just two first quick test shots #3 Bubble potention ![]() ![]() #4 Sharpness OK ![]() For E55 + shipping not a bad deal I think. |

Early 50s Telemegor, very nice Fred. Yes, bubble potential. A tiny lens, very practical. Good price!

Congrats Fred! That wooden rear cap is very special ![]() Your lens is from a batch of 300 that Mayer made in 1953. Did you have a 180mm as well? |

Lovely shots with the Primo 75 Paul! My fave is "The World of Shadow", good comp and fascinating bokeh.

Thanks Leo, also for the batch info. Indeed I have a 180mm as well (and a 250). It's anxious to participate in the Day prime challenge this weekend ![]() Edited by darosa - 26 June 2019 at 21:02 |

Very happy to put the Primo to good use Leo. The events leading to its acquisition are so bizarre that the satisfaction is great. |
