That last one is very nice Ine. Always sad when you have to miss a good friend.
Let's hope new one comes along.

TY, Fred! appreciate serious depression! (seriously ;-)). he is a rare breed! mad as a ........ never met another cat like him, not even close. by no means a cat person- detest predation, but never seen him stalk another animal in 7 years. according to Milo, food is the stuff that comes in bowls. ;-) hope he'll like it in Veere, for the time being.

think we can revive this thread or do we need a new one?

How about I rename the thread to "More and more years with Meyer". Then we can forget about 2019 and just continue

Let me know what you all think of that.

Ine,
These are gorgeous photos! The eyes are so sharp while OOF areas are soft. Is this all the lens? I must admit, I don't know Meyer at all. So I'm wondering about which lens and camera.
I am a cat person. My wife calls me the cat whisperer. Anyway, your subject is a handsome fellow. My cat, Max (Felinus Maximus) is a Siamese and he's my dog! Always stays with me and follows me everywhere. My best friend!
Kind regards,
Kelly

Exactly 3 years ago (I joined Dyxum on 12 January), I hadn't heard of it either, and see how it developed

Hugo Meyer, an interesting read. Do a search. Many Meyer lenses offer unique bokeh and some are quite pricey today while others are great bargains due to the great numbers produced. Oreston is one of those bargain lenses. It was also produced as a Pentacon 1.8/50.

woodrim

Pieter, please open a new Meyer thread instead of renaming the old one, like discussed already

Yeah, maybe 20 pages is enough and we start a new thread for the Meyer shots

Let this post point the way there
