I still have to decide about the lenses for this challenge.

It'll be the Samyang 24 f2.8 and Sony 24-105f4@105mm

It's been hard feeling the photography-bug this year with bereavements and the impact of storms and cyclones here, so I think I'll give it a try to get back into some photography.

It'll be the goal of 3 pics per week. Hopefully I an do more, but well, I may have to be realistic.

Prime Lens 1 will be the Zeiss Loxia 21/2.8 mm. Prime Lens 2 will be the Voigtlander 110/2 macro.
α7riii, α9, FX30- Voigtländer 15/4.5, 110/2.5 M; Zeiss Loxia- 21/2.8, 35/2, 50/2 & 85/2.4, Zeiss Batis- 85/1.8 & 135/2.8; Sony 24-105/4 G; Sigma 70/2.8 M; Tamron 150-500 f5-6.7; Sony SAL 135/2.8 STF

Nope, Just time and a biiig lack of motivation. The weather isn't coöperatieve as well.

My belated winter dip, I guess.

Sorry to hear Harm, and I must say that I also take a lot less photo's then last year due to less drive and motivation for photography. It's basically only the day prime challenges that make me go out. I hope that for me April foolishness is another spark to get more in photography, but probably getting your mojo back works differently for different people.
You can see the April Foolishness 2022 exhibition here Another great show of the talent we have on Dyxum

Hi,

last picture i took was around the rokkor challenge, so i guess my personal motivation isn't at all what it once was too. But foolish as it may be, I've got two lenses which i really should take for a spin, no excuses.

first lens, on A99II : tamron 35 1.8 . I was always intrigued by the combination of 'standard focal length' and semi-macro capabilities of this lens. price was ok, so took the plunge and purchased it last week. Yet to shoot with it, I hope I will appreciate its modern character. It is also my first 35mm AF prime since ever. I have a tiny 7artizans 35 f2 MF lens for E mount, but can't say I'm thrilled by its performance.

second lens, on A7II : Tair-11 135mm. Acquired from a seller on ebay a couple of months ago, in the hopes of purchasing it together with a very nice meyer gorlitz primoplan 58 1.9 lens from the same seller (and 'save' some shipping costs). I won the tair-11, lost the primoplan. Haven't used it so far. I hope it surprises me in a positive way after all.

So count me in. I'll post a minimum of 3 images per week. foolishness part: on some days I will try to take both camera's with me and take the 'same' shot with both lenses. If both are OK, I will post the best representation of the subject in the main thread, the other in the outtakes.

I have decided on my lenses for the month - Minolta 20mm f2.8 & 200mm f2.8.

As I will be travelling a fair bit and I have new gear to play with as well (can't leave that at home), I have decided on FLs that are not covered by my E-mount 24-105.

I am also not yet totally sold on the LA-EA5 with screw-drive (it's not the images, but the feel of it). So I shall pack the A99ii. And some extension tubes for macro possibilities with the 200mm.

I shall aim for pic-a-day but reserve the right to post shots from previous days to make up any shortfall.
