I've been away from a PC for the last four days of last week, on a short break to the north of France. trying to catch up with the challenge in the last couple of days. Day 15 and 16 entries are from the same session, using the STF at portrait distances with Lizzy. It might sound as an excuse, but as these are portraits and lizzy's brown coat is kind of a difficult color and texture to get right sooc, some postprocessing was needed to make the most of them.

Question to Dopol about day 10 and those beautiful straight lines but low shooting point. Was is processed in any way, or maybe you were not standing on the floor but somewhere higher?

Harm, check out "www.licentiepromo.be" for a perpetual Office licence, fully legal and registration with Microsoft works very well and no ongoing yearly cost (and no updates either, which I think is a good thing)

I know, but I'm quite pissed off by the changes everybody is doing on their file formats.

Recently my Office2021 stopped: buy Office365 with yearly costs, LR did the same, PS did the same, all to be renewed yearly. Annoying.

So I'm switching to freeware, such as OpenOffice and RawTherapee.

Harm, what you can do is convert the .arw's to .dng's using Adobes latest and free "dng converter". After that older versions of Lightroom will read these .dng's

It's a mixed bag feeling - having caught two asian hornets (Queens). So we're avoiding 2 nests being created by those creatures (the have destroyed lots of bee hives.

The man that thought me a lot about these unwanted foreign hornets lost 8 of his 11 hives to them.

But it's still an animal we don't like to observe though (i alse caught a european hornet - which had to be released, of course. Being another more natural enemy than Minolta_Mutley).

At this moment the counter is: 2 European Hornets (ALIVE) vs 2 Asian Hornets (RIP).

As a treat i also posted an outtake of the Asian hornets on Ethanol. (i only got a cup of coffee today! ).

I'm also late getting a little more involved. I traveled for the eclipse, then spent time processing the eclipse photos, but hopefully I'm now more on track.

So far 5 per week, more than the promised 3 per week.
Hope I can keep this pace

Today i switched to the LA-EA4r newest firmware (version 9 - we did that one yesterday evening) and the A7III.

It started with a few hickups but after taking the adapter off and reconnecting everything went fine though.

@phil wood - thank you for your comments. And it's nice to hear you liked the statue (it's a brand new one).

From tomorrow i'll start testing the new firmware on the LA-EA4r (version 9) with the same lenses on the A7Rii+III.
