Hi Chris,

Nice series, though I actually prefer the 'gloomy' last one out of the three? The eye seems more drawn to the colours in the trees themselves rather than the setting sun - but this looks a great location whichever image one choses!

Thanks for sharing these and best regards, Neil.

@kenner1 - great shot of the Japanese Maple; beautifully rich colours and I like the way you've kept the heavy branches relatively under exposed to add a framework into the scene.

@Macca - those are great images as well and of a very different type of scene and location; I think I am drawn to the second one more simply because of the path that meanders through the tress which are, themselves, interesting and add to the atmosphere nicely. Subdued colours help it all along.

Looks, so far, like the battle of the Acers/Maples so far though!

Take care all and best regards, Neil.

Man you folks are knocking it out of the park.
The gray conditions actually help.
Truly jealous.

Hi Pieter,

The best things one always has to wait for! It will be a relief from whatever the 'next phase' brings no doubt.

Good to hear we are all part of the 'lockdown club' at the moment - at least we don't feel alone any more!

Take care and best regards, Neil.
