In the area around Mont Ventoux in the South of France there is a large bicycle rent industry, as a result of a 2009 meter tall white topped mountain standing tall in a comparably flat area, inviting innocent cyclist to attempt the ascent. Some of these bikes are more creative, their non-ergonomic geometry compensated by electrically assisted propulsion. Some people (like me) drive 1000 km by car for the mere pleasure of performing the 21 km long ascent (7% average inclination) to the top without electrical assistance.

My daughter has grown somewhere around 25cm since I bought her this bike, time to put it on the market! Both with A7 and MD 85/2 at f2.8. I took these using a tripod and standing behind the bike and holding the bike with one finger on the seat, and then taking a second photo with the bike and me gone. And then just a couple minutes in Elements to merge the two images.

Frog 67 along the canal

Second view

I would have liked to have taken more views of it, perhaps a wider angle, and also there's a spot along the Seine river that's similar to this but instead of those boring buildings you've got some top notch architecture for the background. I had a bit of a time constraint so I settled for the first place we stopped at.
I detest bugs, especially spiders.

Ah, but the impatience of youth: I was with her and we had her new (used) bike with us but she was already sick of being there by the time we got done with the first 2 photos.
