Fred, Paris is so photogenic, and it's a pleasure seeing it through your eyes and lenses.
Like Harald, I love your close-ups of commonplace subjects like the chairs and the Vespas.
Love those views from the top of Tour Montparnasse, a place I only visited for the first time on my visit last May, after countless visits over the decades. A wonderful vantage point from what most people regard as an eyesore and which was the motivation for the development of the La Defence precinct for modern high-rise buildings away from the centre so as as to preserve the integrity of Haussmann's classical Paris plan.
So many favourites, but ##4, 8, 15, 17, 34 stand out for me.
Thanks for sharing.

Thanks all for the kind comments!

@ Angora: all pics were taken with just one lens at the time , but two in total: 24-70 ZA SSM or 70-400G.
I was planning to take my 16-35, but picked the wrong one when we went out for this round. Still happy with the results though

Superlative collection Fred, particularly those fabulous vistas from the tower. I was in the city earlier this month on a family visit to see my wife's aunt but we were travelling light and I had only my little Panasonic with me. We visited Versailles, the Pere Lachaise cemetary and the excellent Martine Franck exhibition. I didn't know about the tower, we'll have to go on our next visit if we're still permitted to leave the country post brexit.

Thanks Alan! Let's hope everybody will come to senses with the Brexit. The tower is absolutely worth a visit!

An 11 years old photo of a breath-taking visit of the tower of Notre Dame... The news are sad

See my webpage!

Very sad news indeed. Doesn't sound hopeful at the moment. The tower and roof have collapsed already and all the 12th century wooden interior is considered to be lost.. Here is another tribute.

Notre Dame detail

I read on Twitter that the 24 copper statues surrounding the now-collapsed spire had been taken down just last week and are presumed saved.
