You're welcome Ine! Only need to arrange an access pass for you.
Like public restaurants, the canteen is closed, but I bring my own lunch anyhow. It's a strange atmosphere, working in an almost empty building...

Haha angora, I like that shot, bokeh is very nice (though perhaps a little shake unfocus). I gotta wonner if SARS* or MERS survivors from say 4 yrs back would show any resistance to this. Seems the "common four coronas that cause nothing but a simple cold" bestow no immunity whatsoever against covid-19, which has been the reason why healthcare is overwhelmed - no immunity whatsoever, super sticky and a relative of prior (and existing in the case of MERS) 'mean' coronas). (Though they are/were mean in the wrong sense if they have it in for mankind as clearly sticky is the much more important characteristic. 'First break the economy..')

*Aren't any obviously

Great aquarels Jet, I'm sure people will love getting them.

Cucoo, good plan, looking forward to see lots more!

My condolances Phil, must be terrible to go through something like this in these times.

Ine , it's amazing, we're reading reports that turnover in supermarkets has been 35% higher than normal, but since people on average aren't consuming more (well maybe potato chips out of boredom are an exception) it's bound to lead to a dip in turnover in the near future

Fred, love the empty office, from talking to former colleagues that's also how my old company premises look. All lab work has also been suspended and everybody is working from home, a good time for the lab techs to catch up on their paperwork and report writing. Can't you work from home? Here in Belgium working from home is mandatory if it's possible, but the burden of proof that it can't be done is on your employer and he will get fined if people show up who don't absolutely have to be on-site.

Something a little more up-beat that's coming from this crisis:

There's several areas where it's now a hype to put teddybears or other stuffed animals behind your front window or on the fence before your house. The idea is that it gives parents who are "airing" their young children something of a scavenger hunt finding these animals and taking pictures of them. This morning I took a quick bicycle ride through the neighbourhood and here's a couple of fluffy friends I saw.

Obviously the first one I saw was the one behind our own window

A dog trying to escape the garden

Sitting on the fence

Music for life

All A7ii + OM Zuiko 85/2

I'll see if I can find a few more tomorrow

Unfortunately the small playground in the local park is closed. Too many kids, parents and grandparents were flocking together at the same time

Pieter, indeed that's Bach she's studying, it's for music theory.

Thanks Pieter. We are stimulated, to work from home as much as possible, but it is not mandatory. Imitially there were some ICT issues with connecting from home to all systems, but that has been solved now pretty much solved.
However, I do not have a real proper workplace at home, let alone three of them with my wife and daughter who really have to work from home. Therefore I have agreed to go to work as usual. With almost empty offices, there is hardly any risk for colleagues or myself.

I like that initiative! It seems to take off here a bit as well.

Btw, forgot to mention that in my previos post. Great shot! I assume it's your trusty Rokkor 28? I'm glad I sold you my old A7, it's in excellent hands

Another confinement project here in Belgium is that people put out posters or white cloth as a symbol to express their appreciation for all the people working in the hospitals and home care during these trying times.

Here's a few impressions of the different styles in which this is done

1: A poster on the gate

2: Simple execution

3: Turned into a family artwork

4: Attached to the signs of spring

5: Corona worker
