Here's the BBC pics I promised, enjoyed using the old brute, but it is a heavy old unit and my copy lacking in contrast at 300 - as might be expected !
All with the A57 - the A7m2 is away being fettled by Sony with problems following on from me dropping it in August, oh dear... Just in case you don't know whare I live here's #1 Looking down the Mersey ![]() Taken from near West Float in Birkenhead Docks #2 The Liver Building with the Royal Iris below ![]() #3 River Boat ![]() Great lighting with clouds rushing past, dark skies & bright sunshine #4 The ever open Mouth of the Sea ![]() #5 Relection ![]() #6 Remnants of Times Past ![]() #7 The Anglican Cathedral ![]() with the Albert Dock and the Dock masters House in the foreground (and unfortunately the end of the Echo Arena intruding on the left !) #8 Industrial Shapes ![]() There are many of these but I liked mine !! Leo's is the better pic though ! Thanks for your perseverance & hope you enjoyed at least some of these All the best Richard |

Thanks Fred! There's also a Telemegor 400 that I hope to use before the end of the year. They're not very expensive. ![]() |

More Day 300!
MO1 Freight Train Graffiti Spotting ![]() MO2 Borssele skyline ![]() MO3 Roadscape ![]() all with a7rii + Meyer Optik 1:4 f = 300mm (1991, Made in Germany; T-mount; Orestegor) This Meyer 300/4 is a historic lens. After 'Die Wende' it was decided to separate the Görlitz plant from the Jena Zeiss combine and transform it into a GmbH . The conversion took place on July 1, 1990. The newly created Feinoptisches Werk Görlitz GmbH again delivered lenses labeled with MEYER-OPTIK and Made in Germany . For example the Meyer-Optik 135 mm f / 2.8 lens with M42 or Praktica B mount, and this 300/4, with T-mount (!) and Exakta mount. Overall, however, it was not possible to set up competitive production in the short time allotted to the company. On October 3, 1990, and thus immediately before the Photokina , the Treuhandanstalt announced the end of the newly acquired Meyer-Optik on June 30, 1991. |

I like #5 RichardT, good use of the reflection and you could even put it upside down to create a trompe l'oeil
I don't find them monotonous mariszlo, lovely colours and detail Nice 300 shots Leo, but I don't understand the sign on the railcar, it seems evident you can't pull it both ways at the same time Typical Takumar signature in the first three Paul, the mirror ones appeal less to me in this case. Here's my first 400 shot, more to follow later 400-1: Busker in front of the central station in Antwerp (just before the Dyxum meet in the Zoo) ![]() A7ii + Osawa 400/5.6 (OM mount) This gentleman used to be the regular "musician" at our local grocery store for at least the last 10 years but due to the Corona crisis he was no longer allowed to play there, hence his new location. He is from eastern Europe and I helped him several times scanning and improving old/damaged photo's from his family back home. It was nice to see him back after not having seen him for almost 2 years. |

Today I have three pictures from the Sony A99II and Sony 70-300 G set along with the Kenko 1.4x Teleplus Pro 300. AF works! But the converter is not visible in EXIF.
