Sorry. I messed it up with the ship we saw when we left Newcastle, that was HLMS de Ruyter. Pieter took a photo of it. And we both wondered what these Dutch naval ships were doing in Newcastle.
I fixed the caption

Can imagine the confusion, it has a Dutch radar system on board (Thales Smart-L) giving it the same silhouette.

For the Old man of Storr (D7-D9) it becomes a bit harder to come up with different views/shots, but I'll share some of mine anyhow and hope Pieter will do so too

F14

F15 A touch of light

F16 Heavy shower on the old man

F17

F18 The wider view on Loch Fada and the Old man of Storr

F19 Given the weather we dicided to skip the famous shooting location near teh three boats

Nr 14 I like a lot with the meandering road and it sure differs from D7-9. F17 could benefit from some dust bunny cleaning

F17 has a great sense of drama and scale. And given the scandalous vandalism that took away the Sycamore Gap tree at Hadrian's wall recently (see for example https://www.theguardian.com/uk-news/gallery/2023/sep/28/hadrians-wall-sycamore-gap-tree-in-pictures if you don't know about this), it's fitting to see a new tree in place in a grand setting. Thanks, Fred!

At the rear, yes, but the forward upperworks is very different in silhouette.

Don't know about de Ruyter but 2 other Dutch warships have been working up with HMS Queen Elizabeth along with HMS Diamond, a Belgian & a couple of Norwegians.
