A group of Dyxummers met in Gothenburg from June 7-10. Almost every day was a (slightly) different group. Manfred and Stina were perfect guides and hosts and we spent two days in Gothenburg itself and two days in some beautiful countryside ~100-150 km away from the city where in one place we also met up with darosa (Leo) and his wife Marjo and dog Brody.

This is the group shot from Saturday morning before starting a trip to the animal hospital where Stina and Manfred work followed by a tour through the Gothenburg harbour:

p1: On Stina and Manfred's porch:

A7 + OM Zuiko 24/2.8

Fltr: Fred_S (Fred), pegelli (Pieter), Maffe (Manfred), Stalbewa (Stina), @Jetsplace (Jet) and Dopol (Domien)

More group- and other shots will be presented in this thread so sit tight and enjoy the show

The first day a goose feather filled the sky as a good omen
D2

It took Maffe's 15mm Voigtlander to (almost) capture it in its full size and beauty.

We missed you too, it's a bit of a long drive to Oz but hopefully one day we'll manage to get there.

That goose feather was indeed a good omen Domien, we had great weather for 95% of the time and even the 5% not so good wasn't really bad at all.

So I tried the goose feather three different ways:

p2: 3 frame stitch with an OM Zuiko 21/3.5

p3: with Leo's Voigtländer super wide heliar 10/5.6

p4: with Manfred's FE12-24/4 G @ 12 mm

All on A7

More (really much more) to come

That must have been this picture..

Having a serious problem with the pictures though..
Something went very wrong when converting to DNG. (The original did not show that)as my lightroom does not read the Rawfiles of Domien's camera.
about 1/3 of the pictures is like this.

Oops, that's not good

Did you try converting them in smaller batches (or even one by one) to see if this solves the problem?

Also make sure you use the latest dng converter.

The first day was on the 8g card. That went well in converting.
The rest of the trip went well to get on the computer. With Faststone imageviewer I checked the original ARW's and they were good.
It is the transfering to DNG that did not work. Most of the problems are in the first 150 pictures (of 490) so I guess I have to delete them.. and than convert them again. The converting took about 4 hours.. so I am rather

edit:

I declaired the card officially corrupt. About 150 Rawfiles were horrible and after a whole afternoon trying with all possibilities I just gave up. Deleted all the corrupt pictures.. Brought the card back to the shop and got my money back.
A little less to process.

That's a bummer Jet, but as you say every problem has a positive side as well.

One of the highlights of this trip was a guided tour through the animal hospital where Stina and Manfred both work. On saturday morning the work is still slow there so we didn't disturb any busy operations.

Sorry to hear about your corrupt files Jet!

Otherwise: lovely start of this thread with multiple groupshots.

We are on the way back in the meantime, after a few good days in Fjällbacka; expecting to be home on Sunday.
