The Dyxum South Yass branch says Lovely work guys.

Perversely for a tulip festival, my fave is Rosie's shot of the Iceland poppies!!!

You guys should jump in a bus and come up to Floriade here in Canberra. They effectively turn over the largest park in the prettiest part of the town (right on the edge of Lake Burley Griffin) over to flowers and sculptures. It's enormous. I'll post some shots in a couple of days time.
99% of the time, A200, 300/4 HS G + APO 1.4 TC. My flickr

Thanks Bob, Dirk, Maffe, Frank and ab012 - we did have a lot of fun, I think I got a little burnt too :(

Davor - all my photos shown so far were before I met up with you guys, so the shot with no people was around 10am and the bees were everywhere earlier!

Swoopy - I did get some clogs... will show them later in another post...

geardown - not iceland poppies, they are anemone

Some more from the morning... still all mf

Ok heres my lot... after culling a lot of missed/bad photos Im still left with around 140 shots, and some I just couldnt leave out from posting up ( I hope its alright with everyone that I show some 33 pics?!)
I tried to arrange/post the photos in a sort of timeline as we went through ( even if the first was taken when we were leaving ;) )

90% of the photographs taken with the Helios, rest with Tamron, Beercan and Super-Takumar 55.

Enjoy...

Thanks guys, I have some extras that I didnt put in that lot - ill put them up sometime later.

I like your 5th and 6th shots Scott... the kids shirt colours blend in so good, and the yellow flowers are almost hypnotising!

Great group photo! (I was hoping that someone had remembered to take one) - can we have a caption to show who everyone is?
