When I searched for a farm animals thread I could not find that one had ever been started. I figured Gert would have surely started one with all those wonderful farm animals he posts. When naming this thread I couldn't decide if we should go with, "show us your farm animals" or "what about us farm animals". Any suggestions? Charlotte's Animal Farm maybe?

@ Andy -- f5 doesn't give you enough DOF, and your shutter speed is far too slow especially in the last. You needed to up the ISO.

Totally agree, I remember that last one was in the fading light and was a quick snap whilst still in M mode after shooting the setting sun. All part of the learning process though, might have to put some of my more recent ones in the critics corner to see if I have improved since taking those. |

Yesterday I was out in Albemarle County on a country road near Greenwood, Virginia and I came upon some cows. The angle of the first photo is like it is because I was actually at the bottom of a small hill. I was looking up while the cow was craning to get a look a me down below. The are part of the April Foolishness Challenge. I thought they should be here too.
