This is a new recipe I'm developing. Very good for cold autumn night. Pumpkin Curry, served with fresh bread and a good beer.

What is priceless? Dropping your 6 year old to her gym class, and having two hours to spend along with your wife at the local watering hole:

Nice shots Hezu. The last two need a bit more brightness/exposure for my tastes though.

Pork Rib Soup is a street food found in Singapore and Malaysia. There are mainly 2 versions: Herbal or Pepper (With Garlic). Pork ribs are cooked in a broth while the pork trotters are simmered in dark soy sauce. Typically, you will find pig liver and pig stomach soup here as well. Preserved vegetables are side dishes. These are then served with plain white rice. Best taken with a pot of Chinese tea to wash the oil and fats away!

Went back recently for a short visit . Had a favorite Hokkien mee stall and Tong Sui in Cuppace center behind centerPoint years ago. No more good food there. So sterile now So they move them good hawkers away?
┐Location? Beats me... I'm lost on a far.far.away.tropical island.

Cuppage Food Centre was closed down for many years already. Unless it was the food court which I think is also gone! In Orchard Road, it will be difficult to find real hawker food. Try Chinatown/Whampoa Market. With the Mass Rapid, go to Dakota and eat at Kallang Food Centre, quite a number of very good hawkers there.

how about the Sommerset drive fried banana stall? Guess it's also gone? Cousing bought me to Katong for loh mee. There's some great stuff there including the spare parts soup which I found surprising that Singaporeans love. Must be a new development. Unheard of when I was working there in the 1980s
