This is a highly specialised lens used mainly for architecture and interior photography. It also has some great advantages when it comes to stitching multiple images together. The only alternative in the Minolta/Sony a-mount for a 28mm shift lens is the Schneider version, which sells at over L1K and is next to impossible to find. Here is some more detailed information on the lens: http://www.mir.com.my/rb/photography/companies/nikon/nikkoresources/PC_Nikkor/index4.htm

This has a specially designed rear mount so that it fits directly to a-mount cameras, without any loss of image quality and with infinity focus.

This sample is in nice condition. A few minor marks on the body, but nothing heavy at all. Focus, aperture and shift control all operate very smoothly. Optically, it is very good. No marks on the front optics, no fungus, mold or anything else nasty. There are some cleaning marks on the rear element from the previous owner, but this does not effect image quality. I've tried to show these marks in the photo, but it was difficult. They're obvious to see, but again have no effect on the end product - just want to make sure you're aware of them so everyone is happy.

The chip will tell the camera the the lens is connected. It will allow full use of SSS, some exif data, focus comfirmation and the use of program modes (ie compatability across Alpha range).

Included are the actual lens, the front Nikon cap, a new rear Sony cap and an original Nikon leather case.

635 GBP + P&P. Paypal GIFT payment or moneybookers. If you want to pay paypal fees, you can, otherwise I think a GIFT payment is appropriate.

Special Delivery to the UK would be around 8.50 GBP I would imagine. I will get a more accurate quote for whoever wants it, and wherever it needs to be sent.

NOTE: The below photo is different copy of the lens (identical otherwise) but is simply to show you how it looks on a camera (Dynax 7)
