Perhaps the greatest danger is "the big hole" on the other side of that railing! Don't want to fall down there!
That doesn't look like a National Park sign, so I would guess it is some thing in jest, or is it perhaps on Indian reservation land? The errors would be in wording and punctuation. I am sure whoever put that sign up knows the difference between reptiles and invertebrates! It would be a warning that there are poisonous things here to beware of. It would seem to be common sense to me, but the National Parks have visitors from all parts of the world that may not familiar with things in this part of the world -- like sitting on a toilet -- not standing on it and breaking the toilet seats! Indeed there are many poisonous creatures in the western US, Rattlesnakes, black widow and brown recluse spiders, scorpions, and less poisonous, but scary tarantulas. Also large animals equally or more dangerous, Bison, Moose, Elk and Bears. You would be surprised how many tourists approach these animals, despite warning signs! |

Yeah, I suspected as that. I've been there. As I mentioned it doesn't look like a National Park sign and I wouldn't expect errors like that from the National Parks.
