eBay and good in one sentence
You linked to the negative reviews only, that isn't a good policy, you need to weigh the positives to the negatives. I don't use eBay at all, but if you do, you need to find a balanced view. |

When you're looking at a seller that does so much business they have tens of thousands of feedback, it makes sense to only look at negatives (and what percentage of the total the negatives are). It's also important actually read negative reviews (not just count them). Some people give negatives for stupid reasons. It's not as important to read positive reviews. |

I've sent a message to emilyandlily, asking why provided tracking number is invalid and could they please give me proper number?
Their answer: "Thank you for your business. Sorry to keep you waiting! Sometimes the delivery is not timely, package maybe delayed by the courier and may have taken longer for delivery than anticipated. The items did ship on time but there might be some unexpected courier delay which is really out of our control It depends on the shipping company after the item is out of our warehouse. Occasionally things happen which are beyond our control. so please be patient to wait for its arrival Your understanding in this matter will be highly appreciated. Regards " Ebay claim opened, and if there will be no solution till 23, I will request money back, and will leave negative feedbacks for all 10 items in that order. |

They did nasty trick!
My order contained two softboxes, 77mm uv filter and 77mm lens hood. After lying to me several times, they've sent the filter and hood, but no softboxes. Now they are saying that everything was sent in one package, I should contact UPS and check! Will keep you informed :) |

Opened ebay case, ebay refunded me the cost. Won't buy from them again any more.

Ahoy!
I bought a lens from eBay vendor murabitokun (Japan) which I paid for on 8/1/17, and it was delivered Thursday morning. That's a testament to both postal services, though having made 2x requests from the vendor which they agreed to, I scored a top quality macro lens for at least 50% lower than the 'going rate' which included delivery. There are many more I could mention, but this was the most recent eBay trade between 8/1/17 and 12/1/17 in terms of buying/paying to delivery. Impressive I sold a lens via eBay (not the one from Japan) to a buyer in Italy and I used the R.M. International Tracked & Signed For service which I posted on 9/1/17 and it hasn't been delivered yet. Compare that to the lens I bought from Japan. Why does it take so long within the EU? Crazy or what |
