I am very fortunate to live about a thirty minute drive from the northern coast of the Gulf of Mexico in the U.S. A couple of days ago a friend of mine and I headed out early morning to visit a couple of locations we had not been to in years. The shoreline was demonstrably different and presented quite a different scene. Comments and criticism welcome.

The series gives a soothing feeling. It is somewhat minimalist, but always with soft colors or shades of gray.
Like Michele, I like the second photo best, but the shadows in the first and last photos are also very striking.
So, like Michele, I say, it's good that you live close to the sea.
Be yourself; everyone else is already taken

Roger, while I am not a water person, you are going to make me one with all the beautiful pictures you are posting.

Thanks all for commenting.

Dopol - I too like, and prefer, the first and last due to the shadows and mood of the very early morning light.

#2 is beautiful, but somehow I am attracted to #5 a lot as well.
TFS Roger!

Jadom and Fred_S - Thanks for commenting. It's always interesting to see the diverse selections folks make for their favorite image. #5 is my preferred image and #2 was just taken because I thought folks might find it interesting to see pelicans perched as they are, very common to my area of the world.
