When going through the images, I get the feeling that almost all of them look at me instead of next obstacle? I mean Iím sitting down with a low profile about 25-30m away among other people watching the race!

L is for lightning strikes
Not the best image quality taken through a rain-covered window, but pleased to capture them. We don't get a lot of thunderstorms out our way.

Taken at 30mm f/13. Pot luck really, stuck the camera on the tripod facing the window, manual focus to infinity. shutter on bulb and held it open until the lightning struck. Turned out to be 3 seconds for the top one and 5 for the bottom one.
