Ok got the bgn lens from keh. Small scuffs on body and a few light scratches on the lens itself. Took number of test shots. Looks good. Doesn't affect image quality. Didn't come with hood though. Trying to find one.focus is fast and silent. Going G to keep it for a while to test. So far though.. It's a keeper for the price.

With A mount lenses in free fall, nowadays any deal seems to fit into this thread. I've seen beercans and 50/1.7s on eBay for $40 in good+ condition.
Even the legacy G and other good quality glass has taken a nosedive with almost a 50% drop from peak prices a few yrs back.

Mind you, the good and rare Minolta stuff seems to fly off the shelf.
I've been in a branch of LCE twice lately on Friday afternoons when someone has traded in their Minolta system and much of the good stuff has sold before it makes the website on Monday ...
Miranda F & Sensorex, Sony A58, Nex-6, Dynax 4, 5, 60, 500si/600si/700si/800si, various Sony & Minolta lenses, several Tamrons, lots of MF primes and *far* too many old film cameras . . .

Ahoy!

How much in whatever currency would you pay for the following lenses:

AF 500/8 Reflex + cap/cover here
AF 100-300 + caps/hood here
AF 35-105 + caps/hood here

I'm looking to buy them as a bundle, but whether the deal is done or not, I'll let you know what the numbers are, but in the meantime, what would be a reasonable value/worth assuming they're all cosmetically, optically mechanically fine?

Although not stellar, all of them score over 4 in the Dyxum lens database which I wasn't expecting, so why not post your numbers and use your regional currency symbol or abbreviation, such as: GBP, USD, EUR.

I don't see the 35-105N and 100-300 adding much value to the 500/8. I would just look at the 500/8 as the value of the bundle.

Been thinking for a long time about picking up a tilt head for my monopod, it's virtually useless without one as I don't like mounting and unmounting the tripod plate on my Sigma 150-500. Popped back into my mind yesterday while talking to Stevo71 and did a local ebay search for funsies.
Ended up with a NIB Induro TH4 tilt head for AUD $50 plus postage...bet that chunk of metal will look funny on my $25 monopod

Just bought online a Tamron 60mm f2 macro almost brand new in box for £108.
Can wait until it arrives. It's solves two problems on my line up, a good macro and a decent portrait lens.
The internal focus makes the working distance almost the same to the 90/100 variants.
Don't think, Just click it!!

Just purchased the Sigma 12 - 24/4.5-5.6 II Dg (the 'new' version) from Park Cameras here in the UK for £479 - might seem a little steep but that was with a significant £320 off the 'list price' on the website, Free postage as well and arrived nice and safe. Now to try it out!!

Congrats! I used to think that was about the widest lens for FF until I saw the Voitlander 10mm/5.6.

Should be a fun lens to shoot with.

They used to go for prices as high as Euro 150.

I got mine for a similar price, though. It's a great lens!
