I have only seen the SLIDE COPY UNIT 1000 for sale twice in the last 10 years. The reason is probably that the number produced was small, few people are willing to sell it, and no one knows what it is, so it is not thought to be a good seller.
I have a lucky friend who was able to buy it for next to nothing from a junk bin at a camera store.
I mainly used it with the 99II at the time, because it was the only body that could be used for AF. Now I use it with the ILCE-1/1M2.
I don't have a good sample that I can put out right away, but this is a reproduction made with the 7RM3. The original was taken in 1980 with a Canon FTb, which is neither AE nor AF, and Kodachrome 64. It is blurry and out of focus, but it was a success at the time.
ILCE-1, ILCE-1M2, FE:14/24/35/STF/135/100400GM, 2070/70200G2/200600G/400800G+5, 1.4x/2xTC
ILCE-QX1, Full Sprctrum NEX-5R, E:2
