Hello everyone!
I am looking for a service manual for Minolta 300/2.8 apo hs. My lens needs the cleaning and I am not sure that I will be able to disassembly correctly.

It's not a very complicated lens to disassemble. Pete Ganzel collected the service manuals for many Minolta AF lenses, including the 300mm HS, and made them available. Some of these manuals are now spread on the internet. The 300mm HS is built similar to other Minolta AF lenses, especially the related 200mm.

You can find the manual for the 200mm 2.8 APO lens on
https://learncamerarepair.com
but unfortunately you now have to pay about $3 for it (despite the pdf is just taken form P. Ganzel).

Also, any experience from disassembling other old Minolta AF lenses will help you.

Tip: If you loosen some small grub screws, the entire front group (the wide and heavy front part of the lens) can be unscrewed and will come off nicely!

I have the service manual for the Minolta AF 300/2.8 APO Tele , the earlier non-HS version .
I think the bodies should be the same , just the gearing changed .
