@ alphatini: After seeing your picture for the firs time it immediately reminded me of something I had seen before. After a bit of thinking I found the shot I was thinking about in the Dyxum Hall of Fame. The winning shot for DPC "texture" by jagged:

@rpo7: Radim, The texture does not stand out as the prominant feature of the image. Perhaps a differnt angle and oblique lighting might have helped. Please try again. Cheers... Brian

This is a shot of the surface of a lens cap from a Minolta MD 50/1.8 mounted on my XD5
It's a macro... i tried to extend the DOF as much as a could with minimal diffraction... so i stopped down only to f/16. Sorry it's so large, but i felt like it needed to be big in order to really see the detail.

Brian, I looked again to my photo and it looks not sharp in Firefox - it is upscaled - I don't know why. When I open only photo in new tab - it looks like original. In Google Chroma it is ok.
Or you mean another PP? |
