Deer by Howard Stanbury, on Flickr | A7 III

He's not white, but I'm pretty sure he's an adult male. Seen at RSPB Minsmere.

Next, another non-bird observation in a bird reserve.

AFAIK the Dutch Vogelbescherming doesn't have nature reserves, I doubt there are any dedicated bird reserves over here. How strict are you on the bird reserve bit?

Sure, a non-bird photo in a nature reserve would be fine. For NL I had in mind a place like Lauwersmeer National Park, which uses a sea eagle for its logo,

Caterpillar is the world's largest manufacturer of construction equipment, do you mean any construction equipment made by Caterpillar?

Edit: I guess the answer is yes

Well, here's a branded earth mover in 2011.

Bideford Quay working | 2 by Howard Stanbury, on Flickr

Is this antique though?

If accepted, I'd like to see another working quayside. If not, then something older ... as requested.

I was thinking more about any antique piece of heavy equipment, regardless of brand. See examples here.

The Jessop and Appleby Steam Crane has been a landmark at Constitution Dock in Hobart for the last 135 years. Constructed by Jessop and Appleby of Leicester UK, it was purchased by the Hobart Marine Board in 1897 and arrived in Hobart in 1899. The total cost was 2662 pounds, 15 shillings and 8 pence. The crane had a working capacity of 25 tons at a fixed radius of 30 feet and designed to travel on rails parallel to the wharf. Powered by steam supplied through compression coils from a wood fired boiler, it could turn through a full 360 degrees.

Next, more steam power.
