Thanks for sharing that Hiro.

Which EF-> E Adapter is that?

Have you reviewed it here already? (If not, would you mind doing so?)

Better buy camera gear, it will be difficult anyway to find shoes where 5 feet will fit in... ;-)

Unless there are protests this will be my set-up. Meyer-Optik Goerlitz Trioplan 1:2.9 f=5 cm (1930s) on M42 bodycap, M42 helicoid and flat M42 to E-mount adapter.

Paul - I think the actual lens is just that tiny bit on the left. Is that correct? (so the rest of the black knurled barrel is adapters and helicoid) Impressively pancake-ular. Pancakulicious!

Anand - non-leaky shoes vs lens is always a tough call. Do you have an inflatable dingy you could use to keep your feet dry while you take photos with your new lens? (if you still have the receipt, you could return the shoes, if you see what I mean.)

I agree with Mike! Paul's Goerlitz Trioplan looks yummy and well surpassing minimum pancake-osity standards. In fact it's so compact perhaps it should even be considered in the even more festive class of poffertjes rather than basic everyday pancakes...

The little thing on the left is indeed the lens. I'm sure it meets the depth < quarter diameter criteria. And despite its simple 3 element design and age it is very capable. I'm looking forward to a week-end with this.

There will be a separate thread for posting your shots.

A funny thing...

I was just looking at one of the cameras that lens comes from the other day (on eBay).

I didn't buy it, because apparently any camera that says "Robot" on it is worth money, even in poor condition.

That mushroom shot is fantastic!
